A lovely image of Alice & Em. This is one of the few iconic Routemaster buses with the jump on/ jump off rear platform. Here, we waited for the bus to come, and remarkably didn't have to push anyone out the way to get this shot. Soon after Alice and Em jumped off and the bus drove on. The Routemaster buses are slowly being removed from London's streets, as cleaner more efficient buses take their place. I like ex-London Mayor Ken Livingstone's quote "Only a de-humanised moron would get rid of the Routemaster".
