A Day in Hand - Same Sex Hand Holding (SSHH!)

PDA in Poland26 Nov 2010 8:28PMLast month we took part in some same-sex hand holding on SSHH Saturday in Warsaw. Mostly we hold hands automatically, though I have to confess to letting go a couple of times where I felt uncomfortable. Almost nobody took any notice, as far as I could tell. Except one little old lady, who just absolutely stared at us! Sorry for shocking you, little old lady. Hopefully everyone else who noticed wasn’t quite so disturbed. Sadly, I don’t think we could have been as enthusiastic about hand holding if we’d been in the village I live in on that day. Sorry no pic of the actual hands holding, but here we are indulging in a PDA in Warsaw Castle.

Couple17 Jul 2010 6:24AMThe pic was taken at Europride a few minutes after we were attacked by about 200 local right wingers. They were throwing stones, bibles, half full water bottles at us.
