After the shoot, I spotted the punks hanging out by the railings in the background.
I had to get this shot! I approached the punks and asked if we could have them in the background for the shoot.
"What's it for?" one asked.
"We want to encouage gays and lesbians to hold hands in public more," I said. I pushed Derek and Malcolm forward.
"Cool," said the punks. "You have any money for some beer?"
I gave them £1 each, and we got this shot. I say that's a fair exchange.
