Kevin and Rowland are not partners but got together to hold hands for equality for the campaign.
Here's what Rowland had to say "A Day in Hand, is a wonderful idea drawing attention to the fact that many cultures and peoples hold hands for different reasons and they are all good reasons. Close touch and embracing one another is a sign of comfort, peace and love. In my experience doing this is not just a sexual significance but an empowering and liberating move, I believe people should hold hands more."
