A Day in Hand - Same Sex Hand Holding (SSHH!)

Greetings. This photo was taken in Boulder, Colorado - U.S. at http://www.chautauqua.com/ on September 25th 2010. My partner (pictured right) is from North Yorkshire and I am from Wyoming - U.S. We've been together over four years and make Boulder our home, while making one to two trips to Britain each year. When we first started dating, we would sometimes hold hands on Boulder's high street (called Pearl Street Mall). Then, a few gay bashings occurred on others (even though Boulder has a reputation for being a liberal community). Afterwards, we mostly limited our hand holding while in 'gayborhoods' (such as London's Soho or Paris's Marais). Currently, I am trying to encourage other gays in Boulder to publicly hold hands too. We saw a story about your site on 365gay.com and thought we’d like to contribute. Please see the attached pictures. I hope that they make it onto your website.

Although one of us lived in Denver and the other lived in California we first met while visiting Washington DC. That trip marked the beginning of the most wonderful relationship that anyone could ever hope for. We spent the next 4 years flying between Denver and Fresno every two weeks. Our love for each other only grew stronger with each passing year. We knew that we were meant for each other and so about 50 of our friends and family from across the US made the trip to Victoria, British Columbia where we got married at the historic Hatley Castle. We now both live in Denver and couldn’t be happier or more proud of our love for each other!
