Greetings. This photo was taken in Boulder, Colorado - U.S. at http://www.chautauqua.com/ on September 25th 2010.  My partner (pictured right) is from North Yorkshire and I am from Wyoming - U.S.  We've been together over four years and make Boulder our home, while making one to two trips to Britain each year. When we first started dating, we would sometimes hold hands on Boulder's high street (called Pearl Street Mall).  Then, a few gay bashings occurred on others (even though Boulder has a reputation for being a liberal community).  Afterwards, we mostly limited our hand holding while in 'gayborhoods' (such as London's Soho or Paris's Marais).  Currently, I am trying to encourage other gays in Boulder to publicly hold hands too.   Sincerely Daniel L.
