A Day In Hand 3rd in Pink Paper Awards 2010!

The Pink Paper Awards 2010 have been announced and we are delighted that we have been awarded 3rd place for Best Gay Organisation in the UK, behind Stonewall (2nd) and Terrence Higgins Trust, who won. Not bad given the fact that we've only been going for a year. Actually it's incredible! Thanks to everyone who voted. We also came 4th place for Best Festival or Pride Event for (Sshh) Same-sex hand holding Saturdays. Amazing, since this event has only been going 6 months.

The campaign continues to grow from strength to strength. With our Sheila McKechnie Award for Social Inclusion in Oct 2009, support from leading LGBT educational organisation Schools Out, and the national
LGBT History Month we will further our work to see same-sex love a part of the natural fabric of our communities.
Remember...step outside, hold hands, live your love! You are the silent revolution.
