Hand holding at no.10 03 Apr 2010
In February 2010, A Day In Hand was invited to 10 Downing Street for LGBT History Month. Both Mr. Brown and Harriet Harman reiterated their support for the successful month and assured the UK's LGBT communities that they would never walk the road alone in the journey to full equality.

After they left, Sarah Brown stayed and talked to guests for the remainder of the evening. Elly Barnes, David Watkins, Tony Fenwick and Sue Sanders, members of the History Month organising committee, were seen busily chatting to people and encouraging support and patronage. David talked to Sarah Brown about A Day In Hand campaign (hoping for a Twitter mention soon). Apparently she already held hands with Naomi Campbell, but couldn't resist asking her for a more recent Sshh pic. She's getting back to me. You can see more of these picture on the the Number 10 Flickr site for this event or the LGBT HM Flickr site. Whilst there I also met James Parks and his partner (the police officer involved in a brutal homophobic attack in Oct. There was also a strong LGBT Armed Forces presence at the reception (see below).

Even with the Number 10 police. They never did this for me!
