International Same-sex hand holding Survey - update 12 Feb 2010 We are very proud to be a part of an important international research project that is being conducted in Halifax, Nova Scotia. This is one of the first studies underway to specifically research same-sex hand holding in public. The results of the study will provide valuable information to help increase the numbers of same-sex couples holding hands throughout the world and advance the cause of Lesbian, Gay, Bisexual and Transgendered rights. For more information about the surveys, including confidentiality safeguards please follow the links below. This survey is for those in couples only. Also, the focus of the questions revolve around women in relationships with women and men in relationships with men. The research study is not concentrating on trans relationships or the difference in dynamics of different bisexual relationships. This is not an equality issue, just the particular focus of the researches in Halifax, Nova Scotia.
