Kevin and Roger has just met but were absolutely enthused about conducting our experiment. It was a short distance but an iconic one. As Kevin and Roger cross the bridge holding hands, London stretched out on the horizon, tempting me to organise relays like this all over the city!

Above: Over the bridge we met this lovely couple, who were holding hands. Did I let them get on with their day? Of course not. I interupted their Saturday stroll for the sake of equality!

Roger stayed with us even after his route finished and ended up walking hand in hand with A Day In Hand pal David Walsh, all the way to Canada Water! Roger said, "It was fabby as I have only just started going out on a casual basis with David we held hands from aprox The South bank until Canada Water. I must admit it felt so romantic and I am sure we will see each other again."
